Aishwarya Rai has
always been a head-turner and has won a major fan following. Thanks to the
stellar performances. The actress has started shooting for her next film Fanney
Khan, which also stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
A few hours ago,
a picture of her look from Fanney Khan leaked online where she’s seen donning
back top and jeans with a camouflage jacket.

Fanney Khan is
the Hindi adaptation of the 2000 Dutch release Everybody's Famous directed by
Dominique Deruddere, which was also nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film
category at the 73rd Academy Awards.
Fanney Khan will
be directed by debutant director Atul Manjrekar. The film is based on the story
of a 17-year-old aspiring singer whose career takes off after her unemployed
father, who also harbours the dreams of becoming a musician, decides to kidnap
the top singer of the country.
While talking to
the press about Aishwarya’s role, producer Prerna Arora of KriArj Entertainment
said, “Aishwarya’s will be much different from what she has so far. “Her
character is the complete opposite of her serious turns in Jazbaa and Sarbjit.
In our film she is the spunky, enchanting female protagonist."
Fanney Khan also
marks Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor’s collaboration after 17 years. The two last
shared screen space in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. However, in this film they
will not play each other’s love interest.
While Anil Kapoor
essays the role of a singer, there were speculations that Aishwarya could also
croon a song in the film.
