In the devastating second wave of Covid-19, many celebrities have come forward to provide help to the masses, in their own ways. Some have used their social media accounts with a huge following to amplify the needed resources, while others have given shoutouts to some notable foundations, and have been urging people to donate to them.
Recently, Rashmika Mandanna launched a campaign called, Spreading Hope, wherein she amplifies stories of Covid Heroes and NGOs, going out of their ways to provide people with the needed resources, to spread hope in these rather gloomy times. She has been sharing stories of Covid Heroes from all over the country, intending to spread positive vibes.
Alia Bhatt too has been actively using her platform to spread useful information about Covid-19 during the pandemic. She has been using her Social media space to seek peoples’ cooperation to donate to fundraisers helping people in these trying times. The actress has been sharing some important posts with some helpline numbers for Kolkata, Gujarat, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, for people in need. She also recently announced a 5-episode podcast series to bust myths around Covid-19 vaccines and encourage people to get vaccinated.
Many other actors too have been working round the clock to help the community in need during these dire times. As the second wave of the pandemic continues to sweep the country, many celebrities have pitched in to help. While a few of them have been busy amplifying SOS messages on social media, a few like Sonu Sood have been on the field, directly helping those affected by the crisis.
