In the past few days, there have been many Bollywood and TV celebrities who tested positive for Coronavirus. While some recovered, others are still recovering. Govinda had also tested positive for COVID-19. And now, taking to his Instagram, Govinda informed fans that he has tested negative. The actor shared a boomerang video of himself entering the room and wrote, "Apun Aa Gayela Hain #testednegative." The actor further said, "I have tested negative. We have done the RT-PCR test and the CT Scan as well to be double sure. There are absolutely no clinical symptoms. I thank all my well-wishers for the countless good wishes, blessings & prayers because of which I was able to defeat the virus sooner. My big thank you to the medical team."
The actor took to reading books and watching movies during these days. "I will be taking the test at regular intervals now as guided by the doctors. I request everyone to please take all the necessary precautions," he added. Several Instagram users dropped heart emojis under the post. Ranveer Singh, who is a big fan of the actor also reacted to Govinda's boomerang video and dropped heart eyes emoji, to which Govinda replied with a heart and smile emoticon.
Earlier, talking about Govinda's health, his wife Sunita Ahuja had said to Etimes, "He had symptoms of a cold and we thought it would be best if he could get a COVID test done as those symptoms were not receding. His senses of smell and taste are intact, he has no fever either. Importantly, he is eating well. Currently, he has just a body ache and cold." Well, Govinda is now back!
