Nargis was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 1980 and underwent treatment for the disease at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Ranbir Kapoor essayed his role on celluloid and the movie turned out to be successful at the box-office. The actor made his comeback to films with Bhumi which sadly didn’t work at the ticket windows.
