The cricketer got engaged to Hazel in November last year, while they were holidaying in Bali, Indonesia. Soon after the news of their engagement broke, Yuvi’s parents also came out lauding their son’s choice.
The couple has been very vocal about their wedding plans, though silent about the date and venue. In a media interview a couple of months ago, they said that they will have both Hindu and Sikh ceremonies.
“ We have decided to have small, intimate Sikh and Hindu wedding ceremonies, followed by a big sangeet and then a bigger reception,” they had stated.
Born to a British father and Mauritian mother, Hazel was introduced to Bollywood by Salman Khan (Bodyguard, 2011). Though not an actor, Yuvi also has a strong connection with Bollywood -- he has been linked with a bevy of actresses, right from Kim Sharma and Neha Dhupia, to Deepika Padukone.
