Ranveer Singh, who celebrated his birthday on July 6, took to Twitter to thank fans and friends from the industry for their wishes on his special day. However, little did he know that an embarrassing moment is coming his way.

It so happened that a car company wished the actor and said, “@RanveerOfficial May you always keep challenging the unchallenged! #HappyBirthdayRanveerSingh,” to which the actor replied and wrote, “thank you so much! that is the intention! love always (sic).”

Minutes after the message, Amitabh Bachchan responded to the thread and tweeted, “hey..but what about my intention..sent you sms greeting for your birthday..did not get a reply.. did you see it..!??



We are sure that the message from the veteran actor must have shocked Ranveer, but he calmly responded. He posted, “Except that i TOTALLY replied! I just cross checked it too! You were in fact one of the first to even wish!”

The actor further wrote, “And it’s the little things like these, that make you THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!! #bachchan #GOAT I’m blessed that you even know i exist.”

You may recall that a month ago, Amitabh Bachchan pulled up Sonam Kapoor for not replying to his text message on her birthday (June 9). As the actress replied to messages on Twitter, the veteran actor wrote, “And what about ME .. This is Amitabh Bachchan my dear .. i sent you an sms on your birthday and you never replied ..aaarrrgghh !!.”



Sonam was deeply embarrassed seeing Big B’s rap on the knuckles. No sooner she saw the tweet from Bachchan, she replied to his tweet and said: “Oh my god sir!! I didn't get it!! I always reply!! Thank you so much! I got @juniorbachchan message 🙈🙈🙈 I'm so so sorry.”
