Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were blessed with their first
child on March 6, 1997. This joyous news came hot on the heels of Sridevi’s
box-office release, Judaai. Produced by Boney Kapoor, starring Sridevi, Urmila
Matondkar and Anil Kapoor, Judaai hit cinemas on February 28, 1997.

If you may recall, Urmila’s character in the blockbuster Judaai was called Janhvi. Both Sridevi and Boney loved the name so much that they decided to name their gorgeous little girl, Janhvi.
And today, 21 years since her she entered this beautiful
world, Janhvi Kapoor made her late mother and father very very proud. It’s
really heartbreaking that Sridevi isn’t around to see her daughter’s moment of
fame, but she had caught a glimpse of Janhvi’s incredible talent, before she
left for Dubai in February, this year.
