Roshan family is going through a tough phase. On Tuesday, Hrithik Roshan informed everyone about his dad being detected with a form of throat cancer. The filmmaker underwent a surgery the same morning. Yesterday, apart from it being his son, Hrithik's 45th birthday, Rakesh Roshan also affirmed that he is doing well and will be back home in 2-3 days. While talking to Mid-day, the filmmaker had said, “All is okay. I am fine. Surgery is done and all is fine. God is great. I am going to be back home on Friday or Saturday.”

And now, we bring to you a picture from a small celebration which the Roshans had at the hospital. The picture shows the entire family ready to cut birthday boy's cake, while sending out positive vibes. Sharing the picture, Hrithik wrote, “And he’s up and about Power of love! Thank you all for being with him and helping him power through. Today was a great day.”

Hrithik shared the shocking news on social media. Posing with his dad for a photograph, he had written, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn't miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad.”

While informing about his surgery, Hrithik had tweeted, “Thank you Sir for your concern and good wishes. I am very happy to inform that according to the doctors his surgery has gone off well.”
