Hrithik Roshan-Yami Gautam Starrer Kaabil To Be Remade In Hollywood
The makers of Kaabil must be celebrating as 20th Century Fox have decided to remake Sanjay Gupta directorial Kaabil starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. Check out the full story:
Rakesh Roshan is on cloud nice. Reason? His thriller starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam has been picked up by 20th Century Fox and is all set to be remade in Hollywood. The film has been helmed by Sanjay Gupta.

Hollywood studio 20th Century Fox has approached the superstar to procure the remake rights of the thriller. Confirming the developments to Mid-Day, Sanjay Gupta said, "It's true that Fox, through Tomas Jegeus [president, Fox International Productions], has approached Hrithik. Even though the developments are too premature to talk about at this moment, it is an honour for the team. What is also exciting is that Kaabil has been declared the best film of [the first half of] 2017 via an online poll. So, it's a double win for us."
Rakesh Roshan too couldn’t hold his excitement and while interacting with the tabloid said, "The screenplay was hard-hitting, and the drama, gripping. It would make for a wonderful Hollywood adaptation, given that it has all the necessary emotions. It struck gold at the box-office because it was about a visually-impaired lover seeking revenge."
Kaabil is an action adventure with a passionate love story and it had Hrithik and Yami as a visually-challenged couple. The film also saw real life brothers-Ronit and Rohit Roy play villains. The movie clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and made a worldwide collection of over Rs. 200 crore.
It will be interesting to see Hollywood version of Hrithik’s film. Are you excited?
