I Will Give My Husband Another Chance, Says Veena Malik
In spite of accusing her husband of physical and mental harassment, ex-Bigg Boss contestant Veena is ready to forgive him if court agrees
Veena Malik is
back in headlines. The Pakistani actress, who put an end to her three-year-old
marriage with businessman Asad Khattak a few days back, is now ready to give
him another chance. Surprised? So were we.
Making
contradictory statements about her marriage, Veena Malik has drastically
changed her stance and said she is ready to give him another chance if the
court approves.
Veena recently
appeared on a Pakistani television show. She not only accused her husband of
physically abusing her but also said he caused damage to her integrity. The
anchor of the show invited the ex-couple with the attempt to reconcile the two.
Maulana Tariq Jameel was also invited to facilitate the mending process between
the both.

During the show,
Veena put shocking allegations like “Asad is an animal, the day he becomes a
human I’ll be back with him. He (Khattak) beats me and secondly he had
disrespected me not once, but repeatedly."
Not just Veena,
but even Khattak got extremely emotional on the show. He pleaded for a last
chance as well. On hearing that the counsellor Maulana said "If he is
asking you for forgiveness, give him one chance. He is saying it before so many
people; he should be given another chance." Veena asked for a written
guarantee from her husband to which Khattak agreed.
Not just this,
Veena also revealed, “I have pleaded for divorce from Asad Khattak 5-6 times
but it was all unheard. It was not an easy decision; I had a lot of moral
pressure on me. My family is more important, but I can’t live with Asad now.
Maybe he has changed as he says but I can’t be with him. I do not only fear him
but I’m scared of my husband.”

Veena’s father
also accused Asad of disrespecting and beating up his daughter. He said “We
used to hear screaming voices of Veena and under our own house. He used to beat
her up.”
After so much,
Veena is as of now thinking of giving her marriage another chance only if the
court approves. Let’s see where the case heads now.
