Alia Bhatt has begun the 18th edition of IIFA on a high note. The actress opened the awards show with her performance and if videos surfacing online are anything to go by, she has set the bar high. Alia grooved to a medley of her hit songs and boy, we can’t wait for the complete version.
 
Interestingly, while performing on the title track of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, she made her way into the crowd and pulled good friend Varun Dhawan to dance with her. The duo shook a leg to the hook step of the number, much to the delight of the attendees.

“I am very excited, nervous and enthusiastic for my performance. I am only thinking about that. I hope I do a good job,” she had said at the press conference.

 
Talking about her debut at IIFA she had said, “I have not been a part of the IIFA till today and I feel like everything happens for a reason. It had to be when I was in New York. It had to be in front of all you beautiful people. And, it had to be in the year I was nominated for two films. So genuinely, it is really special.”
