However, love always finds its way. On Indian Idol 12, Neetu Kapoor appeared as a special guest as an entire episode was dedicated to late Rishi Kapoor. During the episode, Neetu Kapoor shared some sweet anecdotes from the time she spent with Rishi Kapoor.
Among all the memories shared, the story about their breakup during the shoot of Jhootha Kahin Ka was the most fascinating one. While shooting the song Jeevan Ke Har Mod Pe, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had broken up and were not on talking terms. While that was the reality, when they were in front of the camera, they were thorough professionals. Neetu Kapoor was quoted saying, "In the song, we are dancing and romancing but in reality, we had broken up. I used to cry in the make-up room." She further added that the situation was so bad that the doctor had to be called in. “I was being injected but as soon as the shot was ready, we were back on the sets as if nothing happened,” she said.
