Apart from the concerning spike in the COVID-19 cases, people are worried about the fatal rate as well. During the second strain of the deadly virus, many people including celebs and their loved ones have unfortunately succumbed to the virus in the past. Speaking of deaths, Indoo Ki Jawani producer Ryan Stephen breathed his last in the early hours of Saturday morning after he was diagnosed with COVID-19, as reported by TOI. Celebs like Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Manoj Bajpayee and more have expressed their grief on social media.

Varun, Alia, filmmaker Punit Malhotra, Neha Dhupia shared his picture and captioned it ‘RIP’ whereas Advani who has worked with him in Indoo Ki Jawani wrote, “Our dearest Ryan gone too soon”. The Family Man 2 actor Manoj Bajpayee took to his Twitter handle and offered his condolence by saying, “It’s so so shocking for all of us who knew this gentle soul .It really can’t be true!! I will miss you my friend RYAN”, quoting filmmaker Suparn S Verma's post that read, “Life is cruel! But you were kind @ryanmstephen thank you for your compassion in a ruthless world. I’m glad we undertook a journey on a few stories, the joy in writing them was because of you. You leave behind so many who loved you. Cook up a storm my friend. God bless you.”

Even actor Dia Mirza spared a heartfelt note for Ryan saying, “Heartbroken. One of the nicest human beings i’ve ever known,” quoting the same Suparn S Verma's post.
