As per the latest buzz, the Piku actress will be seen opposite South superstar Mahesh Babu in S.S. Rajamouli’s next directorial which is said to be inspired by real-life events. Yes, you read that right! Deepika and Mahesh Babu will be seen together on the silver screen for the first time!
As reported by Zee News, Rajamouli after the success of his movie RRR is gearing up to start work on his next project which has Mahesh as the lead actor. The film, which is tentatively titled 'SSMB29', is said to be written by the filmmaker’s father K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, and is based on true events. The report added that Padukone has been roped in to star opposite the South superstar in the same. The project is an adventure drama and is expected to start rolling by the first half of 2023.
