Earlier this year, Bollywood filmmaker and Dharma Production’s head honcho - Karan Johar announced the release of his talent management agency called, Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA). While most of the actors were reportedly told to leave Matrix and join DCA, Ananya Panday was quick to exit her previous agency, Kwan Talent Management and join the DCA. Now, a recent report suggests that Janhvi Kapoor is too following her lead.
A Bollywood Hungama report quoted a source who revealed that "While Salman Khan too began his agency United Being Talent after his big showdown with Matrix founder Reshma Shetty, that plan didn't quite work in his favour. But eventually, Karan changed the game and is now getting all his contacts under one roof.”
The source continued, “Janhvi recently bid farewell to Matrix and while she was ready to poach her own manager into DCA, the latter didn't want to quit Matrix. While she is already out of Matrix, she will soon join the DCA list."
Janhvi has already locked work commitments and will continue to be under Matrix, unless and until their tenures are complete. DCA is reported to take complete control post the completion of her work.
The 24-year-old actress marked a successful debut with Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khatter. The actress is slowly advancing to the top with her impeccable film choices. So far, Janhvi has impressed the audience with her versatility and performance.
In a career span of four years, the actress has proved herself to hold a wide acting range as she has successfully performed challenging roles. In her last film - Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Janhvi was seen portraying the character of Flight lieutenant Gunjan Saxena who made history during the Kargil war in 1999.
Janhvi is one of the most sought-after star kids in Bollywood and possess an interesting line-up of films. She will next be seen in ‘Dostana 2’ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with Lakshya Lalwani. The actress also has ‘Good Luck Jerry’, Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’ in her kitty.
