John has had a good record with stories of three friends and after Dostana, he continued that with New York, alongside Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh. Hai Junoon is still one of the best friendship tracks to have been made in Bollywood.
3 Idiots
This is one of the most-loved films in the country ever made. It was the first film to break several box-office records including being the first one to cross the 200-crore barrier at the box-office. But at the heart of this amazing film in the backdrop of engineering and college life, was the beautiful friendship between Rancho, Raju and Farhan aka Aamir, Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan.

This was the film that changed the path of Deepika Padukone’s career, taking her from ‘just another pretty face’ in Bollywood to a bonafide actress with amazing acting skills. Kai Po Che!
This film will always have a special spot in the audience’s heart as it gave the gem that was Sushant Singh Rajput to the film industry. At the time it was released, Rajkummar Rao was still finding his footing in Bollywood but today he is a star and Amit Sadh too has grown and evolved a lot since the film came out. Their story of friendship in the film will definitely go down in cinematic history as one of the purest and most impactful one.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Since we started the list with Farhan, it only seems fitting to end the list with him as well.
