Kajol Pens a Heartwarming Message In Remembrance Of Her Late Father-In-Law Veeru Devgan
On May 27, Ajay Devgn’s father Veeru Devgan passed away. Today, Kajol has written a special message in his remembrance
Ajay Devgn’s father, Veeru Devgan, Bollywood’s famous action director, passed away on May 27, 2019, when he succumbed to cardiac arrest. From Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, have visited them to pay their condolences. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and PM Narendra Modi also posted a heartfelt message for Veeru Devgan. But today, it is Kajol who has penned down a warm message for her father-in-law, who has won the award for a lifetime of achievement on this day.
While sharing a picture of her father-in-law and herself, she writes, "In happier times He won the award for a lifetime of achievement on this day but it took a lifetime to prove. So many people mourn the life of the man but that was a life well lived... RIP with love."
During Veeu Devgan's funeral, Kajol got very emotional and could not hold back her tears. Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya were round the corner and Aishwarya immediately held her tight and consoled her.
Veeru Devgan is known for his impeccable work in films like Dilwale (1994), Himmatwala (1983), Shahenshaah (1988), to name just a few. He choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films. Also, he directed a film – Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999).
