Kalank New Poster: On Women's Day, Alia Bhatt Introduces Us To The Enchanting Roop
After unveiling the first glimpses of Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur as Zafar, Balraj Chaudhry and Dev Chaudhry, the makers of Kalank now reveal the first look of Alia Bhatt as Roop. Its quite a good strategy to reveal the #WomenofKalank on Women’s Day. 
Alia shared the look on her social media pages and wrote, “ROOP <3 #WomenofKalank”

Two days back, the makers teased us with a lovely still from the movie. Karan Johar, the producer sharing the picture on Instagram wrote,  “A film that was born in my heart and mind 15 years ago....a film I passionately believe in...the last film my father worked on before he left us....it was his dream to see this film come through....I couldn’t fulfil his dream then....my spirit was broken....but today his wish has found a relationship with celluloid....the story of turbulent relationships and eternal love has found a voice....the film has been woven,nurtured and visualised by ABHISHEK VARMAN....and the film Is KALANK! Set in the 40’s but it’s heart lives on.....TOMORROW the journey begins.....am excited ...anxious and emotional about this one...I do hope you join us on our path to undying love.....#KALANK”

Yesterday, the first looks of Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur were released. Varun’s fierce Zafar caught our eye whereas Sanjay Dutt’s bespectacled look and Aditya Roy Kapur’s innocence also impressed us. Here, have a look:



Helmed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Kalank also stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur in it. The movie is slated to release in April 2019.
