celebrated her 37th birthday on September 21 and the guest list
comprised of names like Amrita Arora, Karan Johar, Kunal Kemmu, Soha Ali Khan,
Malaika Arora, Natasha Poonawalla, Seema Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and
Karisma's steady beau, Sandeep Toshniwal, and Manish Malhotra.
As per a report
by Mumbai Mirror, director producer Karan Johar was in a jovial mood. “KJo
joked that between Ki and Ka, KJo was the “and“ pointing to himself,” stated
the report.
Talking about
the party, Bebo mentioned to the newspaper that hubby Saif Ali Khan had planned
an intimate celebration but made sure that her close friends and family came
home to surprise her. Saif also took a charge of the menu and had special
delicacies prepared for her birthday. He had also prepared his signature dish
and spaghetti aglio olio spaghetti. Her apartment was decorated with flowers,
white and pink balloons. Karisma Kapoor and Amrita Arora raised a toast
to Kareena Kapoor and she cut a chocolate cake.
“The party went
on until 3 am in the morning,” mentioned a guest from the party.
Taimur was around for a while but soon was put to bed.
On the
professional front, Kareena Kapoor is busy shooting for Veere Di Wedding in
Delhi. Apart from Kareena Kapoor, the film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara
Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania. The project faced a significant delay due to Kareena
Kapoor’s pregnancy, but principal photography began in September 2017. The 40
day schedule will include all members of the cast and take place predominantly
in Delhi. The rest of the movie will be shot in Mumbai and Bangkok.
