Kareena Kapoor is one of the actresses in Bollywood who has got it absolutely right- whether it’ her career, marriage, son, a fit body or an absolutely rocking fashion sense- Bebo has mastered all the segments. She never feared to take risks- personal or professional. Her first film after Taimur came into Saif-Kareena’s life, Veere Di Wedding is set to hit theatres on Jun 1. We caught up with the Veeres for a frank chat and the girls didn’t leave us disappointed.

Amdist our conversation, we asked Kareena how much does she relate to her character Kalandi, and the actress was quick to reply that she is not at all like her; Kalandi is a commitment phobic unlike Kareena, who was quite desperate to get married to the man she loved.

Here’s how the conversation unfolded:

How close is your character in Veere to the real you?
Kareena: Kalindi is not me. She has reasons why she is commitment-phobic but I am completely a sucker of love. I was dying to get married.
Sonam: You were dying to get married?
Yeah. I was the first actress to take the plunge when people said 'Kya kar rahi ho? Your career will be over'. I said 'Tel lene gaya'. I wanted to get married to the man I love, I wouldn't have found him again na?

Well yes, you read it right! Kareena was dying to get married to Saif Ali Khan and took the plunge closing her ears to the world and its logics. And we think no one would say that the decision was one bit wrong! Isn’t it?
