As per reports Deepika Padukone or Kareena Kapoor Khan, one of the gorgeous ladies might be signed for the role of Sita in Ramayan
Nitesh Tiwari helmed adaptation of Ramayan is one of the most talked about projects, while it is reported that Hrithik Roshan and Mahesh Babu to be seen in the leads, now two more names are added to the list. As per reports in PeepingMoon.com, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone are being considered to play Sita in this multi-starrer. Both these actresses have played mythological characters on screen during their career. Hence, whoever bags the role will do full justice to it.
While Bebo played Princess Kaurwaki in Asoka starring Shah Rukh Khan, Dippy has played Mastani, Padmavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ventures, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat respectively. If Kareena gives a nod to the film she will emerge as one of the highest paid actresses, as the film is said to be a big budget film. On work front Bebo was supposed to shoot for Karan Johar’s Takht, but the film is delayed, confirmed KJo by releasing an official statement.
Meanwhile, if Deepika gives a nod to the film, she will have to let go of Draupadi’s role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s venture that is currently kept on a backburner.
Now it will be interesting to watch who bags the role of Sita in Ramayan. This Nitesh Tiwari helmed Ramayan is a three part re-telling of the mythological tale.
