all eyes are on the final episode of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan
season 6 as it features Bollywood’s divas and once upon a time arch rivals-
Kareena Kapoor Khan and desi girl Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Yesterday,
KJo’s students- Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria were a part of
the show, towards the end of which, the promo of the much-awaited episode was
aired. And guess what? Along with a few other interesting one-liners, what
caught our attention was Kareena's warning to Priyanka.
When Priyanka was asked by Johar about one millennial habit that she can beat any 18-year-old girl, she replies “moving on”. Towards the end of the promo, KJo then questions Priyanka Chopra if she knows who Varun Dhawan is dating and when she denies of not knowing about his girlfriend, a shocked Bebo tells her, "how does she not know that?". Further, the Veere Di Wedding actress pulls PeeCee’s leg and warns her, "Don’t forget your roots haan!”
While one will expect many secret and past stories to be revealed, the promo promises a complete package of fun and laughter. KJo asks Bebo about the time when Saif proposed to her and she replies, "Greece", which leaves the Quantico actress surprised as it turns out that Nick had also proposed to her in Greece. What a co-incidence!
For those, who’ve come in late, Kareena and Priyanka have been at loggerheads since they started their careers. The actresses, who shared a common interest in Shahid Kapoor, were always in news for their professional rivalries and also snide remarks on each other. It was on Karan's couch, only that Kareena had commented on PeeCee, asking her where she gets the accent from, and Priyanka, in a later episode had replied, from where her (then) boyfriend (Saif) gets it. However, past few years, things have mellowed down between the two and they have called a truce. After all, sharing Karan Johar's controversial couch is proof enough! Isn't it?
