Kareena Kapoor To Work With Ashutosh Gowariker In A Marathi Remake?

Post her maternity break, Kareena Kapoor is painting the town red with head-turning appearances, ramp shows, commercials and of course, movies. So when she signs a new film, it becomes big news. The latest one is that she is all set to sign Ashutosh Gowariker’s next project.
While not much has been said about the project, a source close to Kareena spoke to a leading daily and said, "Among the four scripts that she has liked, one is the Hindi remake of the hit Marathi film Aapla Manus, which is being planned by Ashutosh Gowariker. Another story that she has liked is a women-centric film where she plays the titular role. It’s a film with a message."
For those who haven't seen the Marathi film, if Kareena signs the project, that could be one of the turning points in her career, as Aapla Manus is an acclaimed hit film.
Kareena is currently wrapping up Veere Di Wedding, which will be her first project after she became a mother. The film is all set to hit theaters on June 1, and it also stars Sonam Kapoor, Sumeet Vyas, Swara Bhasker and many others.
Ashutosh is getting ready to shoot Panipat, which will star Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. Post that, he is said to start prep for Aapla Manus remake.
So, whether Kareena takes the decision of working in the Marathi remake or not, will be eagerly awaited by fans – after all this will be the first time Bebo will work with Gowariker.
