Koffee With Karan 6 can be a platform for many young hearts to come together. Now whether you call it a publicity stunt or genuine emotions, these statements definitely make headlines. You may recall when Sara Ali Khan had appeared on Karan Johar’s show, she had said that she would want to go out on a date with Kartik Aaryan. To which, Kartik, at an awards nite, had replied, “Haan Main coffee peena chahunga” but he never said when.
And now as the Luka Chuppi actor was the guest on Karan Johar’s show, this weekend, he has revealed when this much-awaited date will happen. Guess what? This is connected to Sara’s daddy, Saif Ali Khan.
Remember, during the same chat show with Sara, Saif was asked who will he get Sara married to, and the doting dad had candidly replied whoever has enough moolahs? Kartik took a cue from it and yesterday, told Karan that he will ask Sara out on a date as soon as he earns enough money, a condition put forward by Sara’s father and actor Saif Ali Khan. Smart enough, eh?
Not just this, Kartik also has a take on his link-up rumours with Pati, Patni Aur Woh co-star, Ananya Panday. The actor replied that he is not dating Ananya and they are “just good friends”. Yawn!
Kartik appeared on the show with Kriti Sanon, with whom he stars in upcoming film, Luka Chuppi. More than the trailer, the film’s song, Poster Lagwa Do has been in news as it’s been slammed for being a bad version of the original.
