Kartik Aaryan has been a director’s delight to work with. The actor has always transformed like a chameleon for his roles and always surprised us. He can play the small-town lover boy Guddu from the film Luka Chuppi and at the same time he can play the urban lad who has very urban issues in love and friendship from the movie series Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The actor even impressed us this in Love Aaj Kal where he played two completely different roles in one film and shined in both his characters’ act.
At a recent virtual press conference event, Kartik Aaryan was asked which role he thinks he can do justice to. He was asked to pick any role from Hindi cinema, Hollywood, international films or web series. Surprisingly the actor had a very quick answer to it and it was none other than the role of Professor from Money Heist. He said, “I would have wanted to play the role of the professor from Money Heist. I’ve even been spotting his look by wearing specs and roaming around.” Well, the role played by Alvaro Morte in this Spanish thriller series is loved by all and watching Kartik Aaryan play this grey character will surely be a delight.
In fact earlier this year, amidst the lockdown, when Kartik Aaryan decided to grow his facial fuzz, he had posted a selfie with his beard and specs on. Looking at that picture, netizens couldn’t ignore the uncanny resemblance it had to the Professor from Money Heist. Soon netizens and his fans asked filmmakers in India to cast him as the lead if Money Heist is ever remade in India. We couldn’t agree more.
Meanwhile, on the work front, of late, the actor is experimenting a lot with his roles and characters. He will be seen in a very new avatar for his next which is Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka and the actor has already started shooting for it. Kartik Aaryan, who was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal also has film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in his kitty.
