Kartik Aaryan Talks About The Sweet Bond He Shares With Sister Kritika Aaryan On the occasion of Raksha bandhan
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan pours his heart out about the wonderful relationship he shares with her sister Kritika and how badly he misses her especially on Raksha bandhan
Who knew the heartthrob of Bollywood whom the whole of country admires, adores his sister more than anyone else. This Rakshabandhan though Kartik is far away from his sister but he doesn't leave a chance to remember her with fond memories. Since the time Kartik shifted his base to Mumbai his work commitments has kept him away from home most of the time. And the actor misses being at home more, especially during festivals. But wherever they are, they make sure to celebrate this festival in their own unique way. This year too he is away from home in Bangkok to be with his rumoured girlfriend Sara, but as always his sister has sent her rakhi along with a sweet letter.
Speaking about how they celebrate festival now, Kartik said, “We live in different cities. She’s studying in Bhopal, and I’m usually out for shoots. So, she sends me Rakhi and a letter every year and, trust me, this is the most special thing I wait for the entire year.” Aww!! That’s so sweet.
Do you know what his sister call him lovingly? It’s KOKI! Now that’s a really cute name. Recalling the good old days of Rakhi celebration back home in Gwalior, Koki said, “It was more fun then because we used to start preparing for it from weeks before the day. My sister would make sure that she bought me the most attractive Rakhi, and I used to save coins in my piggy bank for her gifts. I do miss it because bachpan ki yaadein best hoti hain. Back then, it was filled with more fun and shaitaani. I wish we could go back in time.”
Well that’s the best thing about celebrating festival with your loved ones by your side. Kartik dotes on his sister. Apart from sharing the adorable brother-sister relationship, his sister is also his confidante.
Kartik further added “Now, we are more like best friends. Whenever I have doubts or I’m in trouble, I only talk to her. And though she is younger to me, I wonder how she knows so much more about life and relationships. She is like my friend, philosopher and guide. And I’m thankful to her that at any hour she is just a call away for me. She is fun, super cute, intelligent and an overthinker just like me.”
We must say, Kartik you both really have great bond. We wish that it grows every year all the more. Happy Rakshabandhan to both of you!
