A few days back, it was reported that Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani will recreate ‘90s iconic number, Urvashi, starring Prabhudheva. And now, here are the on-the-sets pictures of the duo shooting for the song
Shahid Kapoor and
Kiara Advani are currently shooting for the recreated version of Prabhudheva’s
iconic number, Urvashi. While the song is composed and sung by Yo Yo Honey
Singh, first sequence of the video has been recently shot by DirectorGifty
under extreme heat conditions in the basement of the Indiabulls building at
Parel, Mumbai.
In addition to
the humidity and suffocation in the basement, there were bright lights and
smoke to add to the challenging location. Here are a few on-the-sets pictures
of Shahid and Kiara, where the sexy actress is seen dressed in a bright
shimmery pink dress while Shahid is donning an all black look.

Talking about the
difficult shooting condition, director Gifty said, "It was a challenging
for me to complete the sequence in the given time. When I explained the
situation to Shahid and Kiara, without throwing any attitude, they decided to
shoot the whole sequence without taking any break, so that the entire unit
could wrap up the sequence and take a good break in the next location which was
at filmcity.”
When asked why he
chose a newbie like Kiara to dance with an ace dancer like Shahid, he said,
"Kiara was great in MS Dhoni. She has that raw innocent appeal which
clicks with audiences. People will be surprised to see her match steps with
Shahid. As for Shahid, he is an accomplished dancer and has delivered
chartbusters for Prabhudheva songs. So who better than him?” Well, we
can’t agree more to that.
