Iconic filmmaker and actor, Raj Kapoor’s wife passed away earlier this morning. She was 87. A few hours back, Krishna Raj Kapoor’s mortal remains reached her Chembur residence, from Breach Candy Hospital. Her son, Rishi Kapoor is in the States, and her beloved grandson, Ranbir Kapoor, who was in Abu Dhabi is expected to reach India soon.
Ever since the news of Krishna Raj Kapoor’s sad demise emerged, bollywood celebrities have been dropping in to pay their respects to the departed soul. Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan Jaya Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Sonam Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Jeetendra among others visited her residence.
