Kriti Sanon Receives Backlash As She Poses For A Selfie With Cheetah; Trolls Call Her “Irresponsible”

Kriti Sanon is the latest one to come under the radar of netizens. The actress, who’s gearing up for Arjun Patiala, co-starring Varun Sharma and Diljit Dosajh, recently shared a picture with a Cheetah. In the picture, the actress can be seen wearing a grey jacket over a black top and sky blue ripped denim paired with white sneakers. Kriti had earlier posted a picture with two Cheetahs and captioned it, "Chillin like a villain!” She later posted another picture with one Cheetah in the frame and wrote, “He wanted a selfie! Couldn't say no. Zambia.” However, this did not go down well with several social media users who slammed the Luka Chuppi actress.

A user wrote, “Bollywood is a double standard place. They support peta but they also promote animal tourism. Just disgusting.” Another commented, "Animal cruelty spotted." One user urged her to stop promoting the captivity of wild animals. The comment read, “Please stop promoting the captivity of wild animals.. You being an actress and a public icon should have been more responsible and sensitive.”

Not only this, one of the users even called her irresponsible and said, “You being a celebrity shouldn't post the pictures of "selfies with numb tigers". This is very irresponsible thing to do as all these people who are liking your picture, will follow the same. These tigers go through hell lot of torture and drugs to sit numbly like this for you to take selfie!!! Do not promote wildlife tourism tactics.”
