The industry was buzzing with reports that
Kriti Sanon and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will rub shoulders in Vishal Bhardwaj’s
next.
Though Kriti was
keen to work with Nawazuddin and Vishal, turns out the trio is not
collaborating in the project in question.
Buzz was, the film
will be a comedy and the unusual pairing of Kriti and Nawazuddin was to be
milked for plenty of laughs.

But a source has
confirmed that Kriti will not be a part of the film.
With this film,
Vishal has once again given an opportunity to a newcomer director to helm a
film after the Deepika Padukone-Irrfan Khan starrer which will be directed by
his long-time associate Honey Trehan.
Kriti played an
offbeat leading lady in her last release, Bareilly Ki Barfi. In the film, Kriti
Sanon played Bitti, a young woman who refuses to fit in with the crowd in the
small town of Bareilly.

Bitti was received
well by the audience and the film which starred Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann
Khurrana performed well at the box-office too.
Other than her box-office
success, Kriti’s personal life too grabs headlines. The actress has been linked
to her Raabta co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput.
