Filmmaker Kamaal R Khan and controversies go hand-in-hand. He is often seen targeting Bollywood celebrities over their failures. After targeting Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, his next victim that he has bashed is Ranveer Singh. In a recent video, the film critic blamed the Cirkus actor for ruining Sushant Singh Rajput’s career.

In his five minute video, the 47-year-old actor alleged that Ranveer, whose three movies 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus, flopped at the box office, is facing karma for stealing Sushant’s movie opportunities. Both of them were handled by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films at the time when the late actor was offered Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela. According to KRK, even after SLB and SSR both requested the YRF head honcho to let him do the film, he refused. Instead he suggested Ranveer’s name to the Devdas filmmaker. It is a well-known fact that Ranveer became an overnight sesation because of the film and he went on to star in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, which were blockbuster hits at the box-office. KRK, through his video claimed that Sushant could have gained the stardom that Ranveer got had Aditya not snatched his opportunities like that. The film critic claims that Ranveer’s box office failures has cost producers Rs 600 crores. He goes on to say that Ranveer’s upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will also fail at the box-office. He also said, “Aaj Ranveer Singh double dholki ka haal ye hogaya hai ki woh Vivek Oberoi se bhi bada flop actor maana ja raha hai. Ranveer ki aane waali koi filmein chalni hi nahiye kyuki kisiko dekhni hi nahi hai uss bhaand ki film.”
