Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar left for her heavenly abode on Sunday morning. She died at the age of 92 at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital. Doctor Pratit Samdani, who was treating the singer, confirmed that Lata died due to multiple organ failure. Her last rites were held at Shivaji Park in the Dadar area yesterday evening. Mangeshkar was given a funeral with full state honours. Her last rites were attended by several dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The entire Bollywood came together o pay their last respects, among them was actor Shah Rukh Khan.

SRK was seen reciting a prayer and making dua at Lata Mangeshkar's funeral. Pictures of Shah Rukh from the funeral have gone viral. The superstar can be seen standing beside his manager Pooja Dadlani as he offers his prayers. SRK fans have been massively sharing his photos and are touched by his gesture. Many called it a 'picture of the day.'

Sharing Shah Rukh Khan’s picture from the funeral, a fan tweeted, "No superstar can ever come close to #SRK. I repeat no one.” Another user wrote, "Best example of secular India".  A third netizen said, “#SRK has always overcome and risen above hate. Nothing has stopped him to go with his faith and belief.”




Aamir Khan along with his daughter Ira, Ranbir Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Shraddha Kapoor among others paid their last respects to Lata Mangeshkar at her funeral. Amitabh Bachchan and his daughter Shweta visited Lata Mangeshkar's house to pay condolences to the singer's family. PM Narendra Modi also visited Shivaji Park to pay his last respects and met Mangeshkar family members and consoled them.
