A few days ago, Mouni Roy headed to London to shoot with Khiladi Kumar.

You may recall that Akshay Kumar posted a black and white look from the film on Instagram and captioned it as, “Set out on a brand new journey, aiming for nothing less than #GOLD! Day 1 of Gold, need your love and best wishes as always :).”

The central plot is about how independent India won its first Gold medal in hockey. Amit and Kunal have trained for their part under multiple hockey coaches. The two actors were initially trained under Sandeep Singh, the former Indian captain. The filmmakers had also announced that this film will hit the big screens in August 2018 on the Independence Day weekend.
