LOOOP LAPETA Save The Date: Taapsee Pannu And Tahir Raj Bhasin Starrer Announces Release Date
Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin’s Looop Lapeta’s release date is revealed. The film to hit the big screens on 22nd October 2021
A month back, after the film industry resumed, actor Taapsee Pannu wrapped up her upcoming film, Looop Lapeta where she dropped a stunning picture of her from the shooting location. The Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin-led Looop Lapeta, which has already evoked a buzz for its cool, millennial look released recently by the makers, is set to release in cinemas nationwide. The makers of the film have revealed the release date and that is 22nd October 2021. The makers were among the first to take the plunge to resume prep in October last year. The film was shot in Mumbai and Goa from November and wrapped on schedule.
Sharing the small teaser on Instagram, Taapsee wrote, “A comic-thriller we rarely get! Brace yourself to meet Savi and Satya..... #LooopLapeta in theatres this October 22, 2021.” While Tahir captioned the same video with, “Get ready for the ride of your 'life' with Savi and Satya.... #LooopLapeta in theatres on October 22, 2021!” It is currently in post-production. Looop Lapeta is being touted as a new-age, intriguing roller-coaster ride centred around a girl named Savi who finds herself in a sticky situation when her boyfriend named Satya gets unknowingly trapped in a crisis. Looop Lapeta marks the official remake of the 1998 German movie Run Lola Run penned and helmed by Tom Tykwer.
Helmed by noted ad filmmaker Aakash Bhatia, Looop Lapeta is produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment (Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar) and Aayush Maheshwari. It comes from the makers of Neerja, 102 Not Out, Padman, Tumhari Sulu and Shakuntaka Devi.
