She had penned an emotional letter about her broken marriage on Friday and now we have new details of what went wrong in the brief union between Mandana Karimi and Gaurav Gupta
Mandana Karimi had written a poignant message on
Instagram yesterday,
detailing the end of her marriage as her husband Gaurav Gupta chose
his family over her.
“...And I had some very dark nights, nights that lasted
for days at a time. And then I found out, he was fine. No, he’s more than fine.
He’d found his own love, his family!,” Mandana wrote.

After her emotional post, a friend of hers had a long
chat with SpotboyE.com and told us that Gaurav’s family treated Mandana like a
“maid”.
“She was told that she could not wear short dresses, she
was told that she could not go to the spa or have any leisure outings.
Mandana’s mother-in-law wanted her to stay in the kitchen and that is it,”
revealed the friend.

"Mandana who comes from the glamour world felt very
suffocated. Thank God she did not get pregnant else life might have become
tougher for her," added the friend.
When Mandana protested, her husband apparently cut her
off completely from his life. He stopped talking to her and refused to
acknowledge her, even with a gesture. Does this suggest that Mr Gaurav endorsed
his mother’s old-fashioned views which were a torture to the new lady in the
house?

said: “How do you know all this?" and then quickly added, "Please
leave me alone, I have moved on.”
