Massive Fight Breaks Out Between Director Siddharth Anand And His AD On The Sets Of Pathan; Shooting Stalled For A Day – REPORTS
Pathan director Siddharth Anand reportedly got into a heated argument with one of his assistant directors. The major brawl led to the shooting getting stalled for a day
Seems like all’s not well on the sets of Pathan. The film, which is helmed by War director Siddharth Anand, recently faced a bitter situation when the filmmaker got into a nasty fight. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Siddharth Anand’s Pathan shooting was stalled after he got into a heated argument with one of the assistant directors. The major brawl led to the shooting getting stalled for a day. It so happened that the assistant director didn’t pay heed to his requests of keeping his phone away.
A source close to the sets revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Siddharth is known for having a certain temperament on the sets. Given that he's the captain of the ship, he didn't like how a particular assistant was behaving during work. He also wanted all phones to be kept away but the assistant didn't pay heed to any of his requests. He followed the behaviour for some time and then confronted him. That led to a big argument but people thought it was just that. Shooting resumed post that break.”
The source further added that everything was going well, till another major fight broke out. The source then said, “The assistant kept abusing Siddharth and bad-mouthing him to other workers on the set. This reached Siddharth and he was furious. He went out and literally slapped the guy who in turn slapped him back. There was huge chaos on the sets and shooting had to be stalled for the day.”
The Bollywood Hungama report also states that the assistant director was fired from the job. Pathan stars Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead roles.
