Bollywood celebs today sure know how to keep the ‘Intrigue Factor’ of their film intact. Sometime ago, Arjun Kapoor, who stars opposite Shraddha Kapoor in Half Girlfriend, took to social media to unveil the teaser poster of the project.
However, in what can be called a clever move, the poster (at the backdrop of which is a basket ball court) does not reveal the lead pair’s look. Instead, it divulges an interesting fact about the film.
Arjun wrote, “13 and half weeks to go for #halfgirlfriend #19thmay !!!.”
The #filmfact reads. “13 1/2 weeks to release. NBA, the world’s top basketball league is an official partner for half girlfriend, a first for Hindi film. As the lead actors play basketball in college, NBA helped provide coaching and helped shoot the basketball portions for the film (sic).”
Mohit Suri directed Half Girlfriend is based on Chetan Bhagat’s eponymous novel. The project which kick-started in June last year, revolves around a rural boy from Bihar, who enters Delhi’s prestigious St. Stephen’s College through sports quota and falls in love with a rich Delhiite.

Talking about the experience working on Half Girlfriend, Shraddha during her recent media interaction said, “Bringing Chetan Bhagat’s words to life has been challenging and so much fun memories, memories, memories! It’s been amazing with an amazing team. Such awesomely passionate talents coming together. This beautiful world of making films.”
