Meet The Lady Who Holds Ranveer Singh Back From Getting Carried Away By Success
The year 2018 can be regarded as one of the best ones for Ranveer Singh. 2 back-to-back hits in the form of Padmaavat, Simmba and of course his wedding to Deepika Padukone. Both on the personal and professional front, the actor is over-the-moon. So, when SpotboyE.com sat for a conversation with the talented performer, he was as always in his element, throwing answers with the same vivaciousness you would expect out of him.

We of course, were particularly keen to know as to who helps him stay grounded and not get carried away by all the success that’s coming his way. No prizes for guessing his answer there, as he said, “Fortunately, I have a very strong support system. I have a very closely knit family. My wife herself is a super successful actor and has in spite of all the success that she has experienced managed to stay grounded. So, her positivity and virtues rub off on me. There's a lot to learn from her and admire about her. I have a very closely knit group of friends and our dynamic is very pure and honest. So, this small circle of mine is my support system. We were expecting this kind of a reply from the actor, who’s a self-confessed diehard romantic and heavily dotes on his wife, Deepika Padukone. This takes us back to a few instances like the ones where a reporter asked him a question and after a brief silence, he replied, “Main Deepika ke khayalan mein khoya tha.” Or even the instance when he tagged himself as the “Husband of the Millennium.”

Speaking of his last release Simmba, it’s roaring loudly at the box office. SpotboyE.com rated it 3.5 stars and we had even spoken to the actor and his leading lady, Sara Ali Khan prior to the film’s release. Catch that interview here as well, in case you missed it earlier.
