Minissha Lamba Recounts Casting Couch Experiences; Actor Reacts To Rumours Of Going Under The Knife-Deets INSIDE

Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba is gearing up for her first project in the digital space. The actress is popular among fans for her work in films like Bachna Aae Haseeno and several others. In an interview recently, Minissha opened up about her casting couch experiences and shared how she handled such situations. She spoke about how she was asked to ‘meet for dinner’ to discuss a film. The Kidnap actress also responded to the rumours of her undergoing plastic surgery.
Speaking with Siddharth Kannan, Minissha Lamba revealed she has faced the casting couch several times in her acting career and shared what precautions she took to avoid the situations. She said, “I think in any industry where there are men, a lot of men are going to try. This industry is not any different. I definitely have faced things like the person not confirming for the film and saying, ‘Why don’t you meet for dinner? Let’s talk.’ And I am like, ‘No, why don’t we meet in the office? I don’t know about dinner but I am definitely free, we can set up a time and meet in the office tomorrow if you want to discuss further.’ I have handled it like that.” The actress added, “It has not happened much to me to my face. But whenever it has happened, I have handled it in a way where I have pretended not to understand what you are saying.”
The Bachna Aae Haseeno actress rubbished and denied the rumours of her going under the knife to maintain her girl-next-door look. Talking about it, she said, “No, not at all. Girl-next-door look maintain karne ke liye plastic surgery karna… I mean, that is ridiculous. But I would say no.” When Minissha was asked if these rumours bother her to an extent, the actress has the best reply ever. She said, “See, as an actor, you are used to rumours. It’s not like something like this comes out for the first time or something like that. Rumours come out all the time and if you are in this line, you have to be thick-skinned.”
Meanwhile, Minissha Lamba recently opened up about being in a relationship as well. She did not reveal the name of her love interest but mentioned they have been dating for almost a year now. The actress said she wants to maintain his privacy. Minissha was earlier married to restaurateur Ryan Tham. They got divorced last year. The couple tied the knot back in 2015 and had an intimate ceremony that saw only family and friends.
