Munna Bhai MBBS Actor Vishal Thakkar Missing Since 3 Years Now

It was on the night of December 31, 2015, that actor Vishal Thakkar went missing to never return. That evening, he had asked his mother Durga to accompany him for a movie screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at a cinema hall. She didn’t go. Then, at 10:30pm, Vishal borrowed Rs 500 from his mother and left their Mulund flat. At 1 am, he texted his father that he’s going for a party and he would see them tomorrow.

The morning after that, he went missing and continues to remain untraceble even after 3 years. His mother Durga, aged 60 is worried as the case hasn’t progressed by an inch. The cops state that he was last spotted by his girlfriend on Ghodbunder Road at 11:45 am on the 1st of January 2016, as he called for an auto to Andheri for a shoot.

His phone was switched off after that and no hospital record reported of an unidentified man matching his description, plus his bank account too shows no activity since then. In a shocking revelation, Vishal was accused of ‘rape’ by his alleged girlfriend. A report on an English channel states that the girl had even lodged a complaint against the actor, but eventually, they had resolved their differences and the complaint was withdrawn.

Reportedly, he was said to be mentally disturbed due to no work, and his image was further tarnished due to the rape controversy. A few months back, the missing case came to constable Rajesh Pandey, who has traced 800 missing people in Mumbai. However, he too couldn’t trace the man, yet.

For those unaware, Vishal is best known for his seven-minute appearance in Munnabhai MBBS. Post that, he was also seen on the popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.
