A few days ago, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother Mehrunisa filed an FIR against her daughter-in-law Aaliya over a property dispute. They both got into a heated argument and FIR was registered under sections 452, 323, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. She further mentioned that she has known Nawaz for over a decade now and married him when he was not such a popular star. “So as his wife, why am I not allowed to live in my own house? Even delivery agents are not allowed in the house, I feel trapped,” Aaliya further added.

Aaliya aka Zainab is Nawazuddin's second wife and the couple got married in 2010 and have two kids together. In 2020, Aaliya filed for divorce from Nawazuddin and accused him of infidelity and domestic violence.
