As people all over the world celebrated New Year 2021 with great enthusiasm, social media has been flooded with posts of them sharing pictures from New Year’s celebrations. This year was quite a challenging one for everyone, and we also saw Bollywood lose some of its finest actors such as Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput. Irrfan Khan’s son Babil missed his father on New Year, and he took to his Instagram to share some throwback pictures and pen down his feelings.
Babil Khan often posts old pictures and videos of late Irrfan Khan, often sharing anecdotes and beautiful memories he shared with his father. On New Year, Babil shared two snaps on Instagram. In one of them, Irrfan and Babil can both be seen lying on the bed, fast asleep after a tiring day. Another picture beautifully shows a candid moment between the father and son, and Babil and Irrfan Khan can be seen laughing and chatting with each other. The pictures left many fans emotional.
Babil also penned an emotional note, and also wished his fans a Happy New Year. In the caption, he wrote, “On to the next one without you, still with your compassion. Public ko Happy new year!” Take a look:
Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar also remembered the late actor, and in a Facebook post, she wrote, “It's so difficult to wish 2020 as the worst year as you were still there. last year this day next to me, gardening, busy building birds house how can I say goodbye to 2020!!
