Priyanka Chopra opted for a Ralph Lauren trench-coat with massive train for the MET Gala 2017 and boy, she is slaying it. The Quantico actress oozed flamboyance and confidence and we couldn’t take our eyes off her.

However, soon after her appearance went viral on social media, trolls began attacking the actress.

From calling her outfit a shelter/tent to terming her the brand ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, trolls didn’t spare her. Some even crossed the line and made some nasty comments. 



The Met Gala –Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute benefit - signals the opening of the Costume Institute’s annual show. This year the exhibition is “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between”.  The annual event is a celebration of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is located in New York. 


















It is one of the world’s largest art galleries and is located on the eastern edge of Central Park along Manhattan’s Museum Mile. Celebrities rock up to the city that never sleeps to pay tribute to the Costume Institute and their new exhibition. Big Hollywood names like Hugh Jackman, Pharrell Williams, Matt Damon, Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively along with husband Ryan Reynolds, Selena Gomez, Kendall, Kylie Jenner, Gisele Bundchen and husband Tom Brady, Sophie Turner and many more attended the event.
 
You may recall that in May 2016, Sonam Kapoor got trolled for her choice of outfit as well. The Neerja actress wore a custom made haute couture gown from the house of Ralph & Russo. While many fans drooled over the beautiful gown and its flowing cape, there were a few others who thought the dress looked like a rumali roti.
