Nick Jonas Reveals Wife Priyanka Chopra Taught Him Facets Of Hinduism; Singer Says, ‘Will Raise Daughter Malti With Both Faiths’
American singer Nick Jonas got married to desi girl Priyanka Chopra in 2018 in an intimate yet grand ceremony at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Last year, the couple embraced parenthood and welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie via surrogacy and announced the arrival of their child in a joint statement. Nick, who is known to make some candid confessions, has now talked about learning facets of Hinduism from PeeCee.

During his appearance on Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, the American singer asserted that Priyanka has taught him facets of Hinduism and that the couple wants to raise their daughter Malti with both faiths. For the unversed, while Nick follows Christianity, Priyanka is Hindu by religion. On the show, Nick stated, “I have a deep and meaningful relationship with God but God has taken many different shapes than what I just read in one book now. And marrying an Indian woman who is Hindu, I have learned so much about that religion and faith that it is so inspiring.” He added, “We are raising a child who is gonna have elements of biblical principles and also from the Hindu faith.”

On January 23, 2022, Nick and Priyanka were blessed with daughter Malti, who was born prematurely. The little girl was kept in NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) under observation for 100 days.

On Mother’s Day, the actress brought her baby girl home and shared glimpses of her special welcome on Instagram. The doting mommy posted a first picture of her daughter and wrote, “On this Mother's Day we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100-plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”
