Anupam Kher Gets Badly INJURED On The Sets Of Vijay 69, Actor Suffers Hairline Fracture On His Shoulder; Neene Gupta Asks, ‘Arre Re Kya Kiya’
Anupam Kher took to his Instagram handle to inform fans he got injured on the sets of his upcoming film 'Vijay 69'
Veteran actor Anupam Kher is one of the most versatile actors that we have in the industry. In a career spanning almost four decades, he has featured in over 500 films and has some remarkable performances to his credit. Anupam will next be seen in the upcoming film titled ‘Vijay 69’ where he plays the role of a sexagenarian man who decides to compete in a triathlon contest at the age of 69. While shooting for the film, the actor has got badly injured. He sustained a major shoulder injury.
On Monday, the Special 26 actor posted a picture of him with a shoulder sling on and informed that he suffers a hairline fracture on his shoulder. Dressed in a white and black checkered t-shirt and pants, Anupam was seen smiling, holding the ball as he posed for the camera. Alongside the picture, he wrote, “You do a sports film and you don't get injured! How can this be possible? During the shooting of #Vijay69 yesterday, there was a serious injury in the shoulder. It is painful, but when the brother who put the sling on the shoulder told me that he had decorated the shoulders of @iamsrk and @iHrithik with this sling, then I do not know why the feeling of pain has subsided a bit! But by the way, if I cough a little hard, then a little scream definitely comes out of my mouth.”

On a related note, ‘Vijay 69’ has been directed by Akshay Roy of 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' and is produced by Maneesh Sharma. The first look of the film was released on May 4 on social media and it showed lead actor Anupam Kher riding a cycle. This quirky slice-of-life film will be released on OTT and notably, this will be Kher’s 537th film.
