Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan is the king of hearts in the true sense and he has a massive fan base across the world. Notable, SRK, known for his humble and down-to-earth personality, goes to extra lengths when it comes to showering love on his fandom. And, most recently, the actor fulfilled the last wish of a cancer patient named Shivani Chakraborty, who is battling terminal cancer for years now. In an interview, she expressed that her last wish is to meet King Khan.
As soon as the actor learned about Shivani’s wish to meet him, he instantly connected with her on a video call and had a heart-to-heart conversation with the 60-year-old cancer patient for about 40 minutes. Shah Rukh promised to help her financially and even said he will attend her daughter’s wedding. Not just that the Pathaan star also promised to visit her home in Kolkata and will have a fish meal with her. Several fans club pages of the actor shared screenshots of SRK’s video chat with Shivani and hailed the superstar. In an interview with Aaj Tak, the cancer patient said, “I am counting days as doctors have said I will not live long. There is one wish, call it my last wish. It is to meet Shahrukh Khan before I die. I want to see him in person.” Shivani also wants to cook a simple Bengali meal for the superstar.
She added, “I will cook for him something that we eat at our home every day. He loves Bengal so he might enjoy the homely meal I hope to cook for him,” Shivani shared while wiping a picture of the actor with her saree’s anchal. I want to ask him to bless my daughter. I want to see him and understand how such a star is so grounded.”
