Not Deepika Padukone Or Katrina Kaif, It’s Finally Anushka Sharma In Satte Pe Satta Remake- EXCLUSIVE
After several rounds of speculations in media, SpotboyE.com has it that Anushka Sharma has been finalised to step into Hema Malini's shoes for the remake of Satte Pe Satta. So, the actress will be seen pairing up with Hrithik Roshan, who essays Big B's role in the film
The remake of 1982 cult classic, Satte Pe Satta has been the talk of the town, thanks to its star-cast. While, the original starred Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in main roles, there have been speculations around who will step into their shoes.
We told you that it is none other than Hrithik Roshan who will essay Big B’s role and next, we also brought you the story that Preity Zinta has been approached to play Ranjeeta’s character. Now, we have learnt exclusively that Anushka Sharma has been finalised for Hema Malini’s role. The actress will play Hrithik’s wife in the film. There had been initial reports, but nothing was finalised.
Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty felt that the actress is apt for the role. The modalities are fast being worked out. Anushka was last seen in the film Zero in 2018. While the film didn’t do wonders at the box-office, her performance was appreciated.
Coming back to Satte Pe Satta remake, SpotboyE.com also brought you the news that popular TV actor Nakuul Mehta (of Ishqbaaaz fame) and Darsheel Safary (of Taare Zameen Par fame) have been roped in to play Hrithik’s on screen brothers in the film. The original film starred Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shakti Kapoor, Paintal, Kanwaljeet Singh, Sudhir and Vikram Sahu playing Big B’s brothers.
Reportedly, the film will go on floors in January 2020.
