Actress Swara Bhasker is known to speak her mind as she has never shied away from expressing her opinions. The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming film 'Jahaan Chaar Yaar' which is based on the friendship of women. In a recent interview, Swara opened up about her views on romance and she blamed Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra for destroying her love life. Shocked right? Bhasker revealed that she watched SRK starrer ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ at a tender age and his character Raj left an indelible mark on her mind.
Speaking with MidDay, the Veere Di Wedding actress explained that she started searching for Raj but she later realized that Raj doesn't exist in real life. Swara said, “I blame Aditya Chopra sir and Shah Rukh Khan for ruining my love life. Because I watched Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge at a tender age, and ever since I have been searching for that Raj, who looks like Shah Rukh, but Raj. It has taken me many many years to realise that Raj doesn't exist. Swara’s co-actor Pooja Chopra interrupted and said, “Swara is single and ready to date.” Just then, Swara declared that she is 'done guys and that she has no energy now'. “Single life is hard, it's like sifting through garbage,” she added.
Meanwhile, ‘Jahaan Chaar Yaar’ directed by Kamal Pandey also stars Pooja Chopra, Shikha Talsania, and Meher Vij. The film will hit the theatres this Friday, 16 September. This project marks Swara Bhasker’s return to acting after four years. Swara was last seen with Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which was released in 2018.
