Actress Swara Bhasker has come under the radar of trolls for praising Aamir Khan’s latest release ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which has failed at the box office. The actress took to her Twitter handle to laud Khan and called him a ‘handsome Sikh’. She also sang praises for actress Mona Singh, who played the role of Laal’s mother in Advait Chandan’s directorial. However, Swara’s review of the film did not go down well with several netizens who badly trolled her.

On Wednesday, the Veere Di Wedding actress tweeted, “Watching #LalSinghChaddha ! Already tugging at the heart strings Have to say #AamirKhan makes a handsome Sikh! Also Little Laal and Little Rupa are soooo cute. And Mona Singh is all heart! Stellar casting job @CastingChhabra.” Soon after this, netizens started trolling Swara. One user commented, “If the movie is so interesting, why are you using your phone…Desperation for roles.” Another wrote, “Dint expected from #AamirKhan . Please refund the money. Earlier, Hrithik Roshan got brutally trolled after he came out in support of Aamir and Kareena Kapoor’s starrer and called the film ‘magnificent and a gem.’ Ever since the War actor praised Laal Singh Chaddha, #BoycottVikramVedha has been trending on Twitter.

Meanwhile, it is being said that Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir is in deep shock following the huge failure of his film, and that rejection has hit him very hard. A close friend of Khan and his former wife Kiran Rao revealed to Bollywood Hungama that the actor is in a state of shock as he had worked really hard to make the best version of Forrest Gump possible. 

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ minted just Rs 12 crore on its first day and this is said to be the lowest and worst opening figure of any Aamir film in the last 13 years.
