Urvashi Rautela comments on Rishabh Pant’s health as the ace-cricketer is bust recuperating at home after his knee surgery
Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela and ace Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant’s saga doesn’t seem to end. A story that the netizens are invested in but at the same time are tired of, the actress was recently spotted at the airport where she admitted to praying for his speedy recovery. For the unversed, Rishabh had gotten into a horrible accident on December 30th.
The actress looked beautiful in her matching red co-ord set which she paired with a pair of sunglasses. The actress who was spotted at the airport by the paparazzi on Friday evening was asked about her take on Rishabh’s recovery, hinting at his recent social media health post. Responding to the questions by the paps, Urvashi called the cricketer India’s pride and that “he’s an asset to our country.” When the paps say, “Hamari toh dua hain unke saath,” the diva quickly says, “Hamari bhi.” ALSO READ: WHAT! Speaking of Rishabh’s post, he had taken to Instagram to share pictures of him trying to walk with the help of crutches, with the caption, “One step forward. One step stronger. One step better.”
For the unversed, their entire fiasco started when in an interview, Urvashi revealed that a man named RP had waited for hours on end in a hotel lobby just to meet her. Rishabh had then indirectly pointed at the actress through a social media post and told her to stop lying for attention. It was later revealed that the man Urvashi was talking about was Tamil star Ram Pothineni. Talking about Rishabh Pant, right before the new year’s eve Rishabh’s car crashed into a divider and caught on fire when he was returning home. The cricketer sustained injuries on his back, forehead and leg as he had to break the car’s glass to get out. He underwent a knee surgery as he suffered from the ACL and MCL tear in his right leg and currently recuperating.
On the work front, Urvashi Rautela will be seen alongside Ram Pothineni in a pan-Indian film. She will also be seen in ‘Inspector Avinash’ alongside Randeep Hooda. The actress is all set to make her Hollywood debut with Michele Morrone on Netflix. In addition to the Hindi adaptation of ‘Thiruttu Payale 2,’ she will also star in the bilingual thriller ‘Black Rose,’ which is based on William Shakespeare’s book ‘The Merchant of Venice’.
